Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Михайло Зеленко. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Amigao (talk) 16:02, 8 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo @Amigao
Thank you for your comments and contributions to the prepared article!
This article is about a colleague we used to work with. According to Wiki policy, Dmytro Shestakov cannot make a publication about himself. Accordingly, he asked me to do this for him without payment.
I am not expecting any payment or other favour for writing this article. I am doing it out of a desire to help, just as you are helping us to edit the article I have prepared.
The article does not contain any direct references to any company, business or service. The article contains neutral statements about Dmytro Shestakov's experiences with links to reliable sources.
The article does not contain spam in the form of useless links or those that hide benefits for me or Dmytro Shestakov. All links have objective and logical confirmation.
I have already answered you regarding the nature of the article - the article is not promotional in nature, does not advertise goods or services, does not refer to or describe paid products.
Thanks for your help and time. Михайло Зеленко (talk) 14:02, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
