[edit]Hello, I'm FifthFive. I noticed that you recently removed content from Mark Harris (North Carolina politician) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. [edit]Hello, I'm Sir Nuttingham. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Pedro Espada Jr., but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Sir Nuttingham (talk) 10:19, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Sir Nuttingham, please take a closer look at the rest of the lead and at the article body. The article clearly states that Espada was convicted, served time in prison, and was released. This material is appropriately sourced. Per WP:LEAD, sources do not need to be included in the lead as long as they are present in the article body. Thank you. 172.100.117.24 (talk) 10:22, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Bill Musselman, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 14:32, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Raydann, please take another look at my much-needed edits and reconsider your message. As you will see, I did not add any information to the article (let alone unsourced information). The article is in a pitiable state. Most of it is unsourced. It has been tagged for the sourcing problem since 2008. I am reinstating my edits, which removed some excess detail and renamed some oddly named sections. Please do not revert without justification. Thank you. 172.100.117.24 (talk) 14:35, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @172.100.117.24. While editing the page Bill Musselman, you introduced original research in the article body which were not backed up by reliable sources. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 14:38, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- User:Raydann, what are you talking about? 172.100.117.24 (talk) 14:42, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello again @172.100.117.24. You are right; the mistake was on my part. You were removing unreferenced information but I mistook your edit and thought that you were adding unreferenced text. I apologize humbly for reverting your edit. Thank you very much for your help. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 14:44, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the apology. No worries. 172.100.117.24 (talk) 14:49, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Luke Evans, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. BlueboyLINY (talk) 15:16, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
- I did not remove a template message. I added one. Then you removed it. Are you OK? 172.100.117.24 (talk) 15:18, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @172.100.117.24! I think there might be a slight bit of prejudice against your edits because you're editing as an IP. There is nothing wrong with that and your edits are much needed in cleaning up articles. But I would like to encourage you to create an account because there are additional benefits associated with an account. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 21:03, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at 2010 United States Senate election in Alaska, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. CR (talk) 18:14, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- CR, I reinstated my edit with a full and detailed edit summary. As you can see, I made a series of much-needed edits that corrected errors, added missing information, and created better flow. 172.100.117.24 (talk) 23:44, 29 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for your contribution. Happy editing! (By the way, you might wish to create an account - edits made without one seem to get caught up in the filters more - but that's your choice.) CR (talk) 23:53, 29 November 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Snowycats. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Rob Refsnyder—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Snowycats (talk) 05:50, 31 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Snowycats. I get why you're concerned (you probably saw the "references removed" tag), and I could have explained more in my edit summaries. Could I invite you to take another look, though? Given that Refsnyder is a player who has struggled to even stay in the major leagues, I am staggered by this article's length and level of detail. Right now, the article is 30 paragraphs long. In nine MLB seasons, Refsnyder has played in 471 big league games. There just isn't that much to say about his career that is worth reading. To me, the article should be maybe a third the length that it is, and certainly not more than half. That is why I have been making some cuts. Now that I have explained, I am interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks. 172.100.117.24 (talk) 06:13, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Mamani1990. I noticed that you recently removed content from Jeremiah Williamson without adequately explaining why. Thanks. Mamani1990 (talk) 03:29, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Mamani1990, please take another look at my edits and edit summaries. The article contained problematic sources, contained unsourced material, and was sloppy. It is in much better shape following my edits. I do not believe that a wholesale revert of my 22 edits was appropriate. Thank you. 172.100.117.24 (talk) 03:36, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, you are totally correct. I do apologize for my error, I went too fast. Another user has already undone my quick edit of your great work. It should be up now. Again, sorry. Regards. Mamani1990 (talk) 03:37, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for that. All the best. 172.100.117.24 (talk) 03:38, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please ensure to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, multiple, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Additionally, you are strongly encouraged to create an account. Thanks! --Picard's Facepalm • Made It So Engage! • 15:33, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
