Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 03:12, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments belong on the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and may respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. MrOllie (talk) 04:07, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

which comment are you referring to? 176.4.225.16 (talk) 04:16, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The one you added into the middle of an article. Kindly use talk pages, and also stop accusing people of vandalizing articles when they clearly are not. MrOllie (talk) 04:27, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:MrOllie. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Meters (talk) 09:07, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

dear Meters, I feel offended by this user in silly reverts which trash lots of valuable info, acc. his talk page it's a destructive obsession which already frustrated lots of other users ... IMHO not good for wikipedia, what shall I do? 176.4.225.16 (talk) 10:15, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on User talk:176.4.225.16. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Meters (talk) 10:25, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

dear Meters, please help me in a constructive way. I feel in general that there are some users who very often delete contributions but others, often for 'small' reasons, and in that step trashing other correct info. Acc. my understanding these users should seek consensus on the talk pages instead of this type of aggressive reverts. Is there a way to achieve this? 176.4.225.16 (talk) 10:44, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It is up to you to stop editorializing in articles and to support your additions with reliable sources. No one can do this for you. WP:V and WP:OR are Wikipedia's core policies, these are not 'small reasons'. It is up to you to get consensus for your edits, see WP:ONUS - you can't reverse that burden and say others need consensus to revert you. MrOllie (talk) 13:19, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Stop commenting on other users. Follow WP:BRD and discuss contested content on article talk pages. Do not continue to restore your versions, and do not comment on other users in edit summaries or on talk pages. Meters (talk) 10:27, 2 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
