The flag you keep adding to Ohio Civil War units' infoboxes didn't exist until 1902
[edit]I'm wondering about the dubious value of adding a flag which nobody in Ohio (or anywhere else) saw during the war. BusterD (talk) 02:43, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- Nerts! I had wrong information. I just double-checked, and you are right. My source was wrong. I was acting in good faith, but was wrong. I apologize. Boo Boo (talk) 12:52, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- No worries. My eye is always drawn towards multiple insertions, this time because so many of your works are on my watchlist. I'm not going to revert you, but do urge you to consult sources you normally utilize like this to find an optimal solution. BusterD (talk) 22:54, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
- Roger that. I'm reverting them as I go through the regiments again. Just tidied up 36th. Thanks for the link. Boo Boo (talk) 02:55, 17 October 2024 (UTC)

Hello! In a recent edit of yours to 5th New York Cavalry Regiment, you converted citations using {{harvnb}}
to using {{sfnp}}
without removing the <ref>
tags wrapping the templates. {{sfnp}}
(and closely related templates) really don't like <ref>
tags, and produce an error. When this conversion is performed on a large scale, the result can be a very large, very red, wall of text (see § Citations after your edit). Yes, it does make the edit harder, but it's certainly something you should look out for. Thanks! – Daℤyzzos (✉️ • 📤) No need to ping 23:32, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, I am aware of the problem. I am in the midst of editing it. I tried doing ot in my sandbox, but for some reason, I couldn't, soooo, I am doing it on the article. Boo Boo (talk) 23:35, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- Okay. My apologies for the erroneous message, and thank you for your efforts to improve citations! – Daℤyzzos (✉️ • 📤) 00:15, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
