Looking for more wallpaper images of Tad's

Greetings and thank you for considering this! Here is the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tad%27s_Steaks I am looking to recreated the (in)famous Tad's Steak interior wallpaper as an anniversary gift for my wife. Might you have any more images of the wallpaper that I could use as a template?

Thank you, 2603:7000:E601:471E:153A:9817:C22A:3218 (talk) 17:28, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for your interest in the article I wrote, but I'm afraid that image is the only one I was able to find. RoySmith (talk) 17:35, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

I recently invited you to take a survey about administration on Wikipedia. If you haven’t yet had a chance, there is still time to participate– we’d truly appreciate your feedback. The survey is anonymous and should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement.

Take the survey here.

Kind Regards,

Query

Hello, Roy,

Well, I bit the bullet and submitted my statement for the ARBCOM election. Unfortunately though, I've had to redo all of my pages so I seem to be having trouble with the templates. Could you double-check my entry and fix anything I got wrong? If so, I'm very grateful. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:08, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

Hi Liz, I'm very glad to see your name on the list. In this area, I'm serving mostly as cheerleader and candidate wrangler, so I'm pinging some friendly arbcom clerks Amortias and Dreamy Jazz who certainly know more about the details of nomination formats than I do; hopefully one of them will be able to spot any problems. RoySmith (talk) 01:27, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Thanks, I think I fixed the problems by looking at Arbitration election candidates in previous elections. Formatting the questions involved wiki code I have never used in 11 years here but it's kind of similar to HTML. We'll see how I fare. But thanks for issuing the call for help! Liz Read! Good to hear you resolved the issues. Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 10:53, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

More content farms probably generated using LLM AI being cited and linked

I undid an addition you made to the article about Margaret Sibella Brown. I think you may need to know a bit more detail about why. The website linked, https://www.botanikks.com/, appears to be generated using LLM AI. Notice how on the page about Entosthodon neoscoticus the binomial is repeated over and over with "M. S. Brown" appended after it. That's not a very human mistake to make. Other pages on the site have similar oddness such as their page on Sequoia Sempervirens that is full of vague platitudes. It also says, "Another disease that can impact Sequoia sempervirens is Sudden Oak Death. This is a devastating disease that can cause the entire tree to die within a few years." While Phytophthora ramorum does infect the species it does not kill trees directly. That's exactly the sort of subtle mistake of fact that is most dangerous for Wikipedia's mission. A couple of editors have started to notice sites like this being cited, especially by new editors. I noticed botanikks when doing one of my periodic sweeps for citations of the similar site put up by Talk:Selina Wamucii.
There is nothing you need to do about this right now, but I think it important to let my fellow editors know about how this problem is starting to crop up on Wikipedia and to be more cautious about linking to or citing commercial websites without a reputation for good editorial oversight. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 16:41, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw. I was a bit curious but when I looked at the site in more detail, yeah, it did seem kind of sketch. Thanks for the detailed explanation. RoySmith (talk) 16:45, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
PS, should this be listed on WP:RSN for future reference? RoySmith (talk) 16:47, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
I do think that listing it would be a good idea. I've not gotten around to it. We are going to have to figure out a new way of dealing with this sort of semi-intentional spaming by misleading good faith editors. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 19:28, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

DYK for Louis Abramson

On 20 December 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Louis Abramson, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Louis Abramson worked on the renovation of a building that he designed 57 years earlier? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Louis Abramson. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Louis Abramson), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
