I have sent you a note about a page you started

[edit]

Hi Submackeen. Thank you for your work on Whoopy Crown. Another editor, MPGuy2824, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

the word "crown" isn't mentioned in the target page

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|MPGuy2824}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

@MPGuy2824: I'd argue that the shape of the hat itself warrants the redirect to exist, as it is physically similar to a crown. However, if you deem it unnecessary, its removal is fine by me. Submackeen (talk) 02:37, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
if you deem it unnecessary This isn't what I meant. If the phrase "whoopy crown" is used for "whoopie cap", then you should add that phrase (with a ref) to the article. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 06:49, 23 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your (partial) reversion of my edit to "Whoopee cap"

[edit]

Greetings and felicitations. I noticed that you reverted my edit to Whoopee cap with the subsequent edit comment "Previous edit reinstated partially." I'd like to point out that portal templates are (as I moved it in my edit) customarily placed at the top of the "See also" section, and that my other changes were not necessarily "unnecessary". The addition of a carriage return between the two items at the at the top of the article IMHO makes it easier to edit, quotation marks in the reference title are double quotes inside of double quotes, and alphabetizing the "See also" links make them easier to find. In light of this, may I please reimplement them? —DocWatson42 (talk) 12:07, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I had just woken up so I definetly didn't thuroughly inspect them. submackeen Submackeen (talk) 18:24, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. —DocWatson42 (talk) 00:56, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Currently there is a slight issue with the part referencing the felt crown and the link for its reference. I'm not able to correct it myself given I'm an editing novice. Would you be able to correct that? submackeen Submackeen (talk) 21:08, 27 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, and done. It was the comma in the <ref> tag. DocWatson42 (talk) 01:17, 28 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
